No. Reservation fees are non-refundable and confirm your commitment to adopting.

Do you have a contract?

Yes. Every family adopts under a written contract that outlines health guarantees, reservation terms, and adoption policies. You can review our sample contract here.

What health testing do the parents have?

Our parent dogs are AKC registered Miniature Poodles with OFA certifications (hips, elbows, patellas, cardiac, eyes) and full DNA panels.

What do puppies go home with?

Every puppy goes home with a licensed vet exam, first vaccines, microchip, deworming, docked tail & dewclaws removed, a go-home bag (food, toys, scent blanket), lifetime breeder support, and 30 days of free Trupanion insurance.

Yes. Our puppies are companions only. Spay/neuter timing and details are outlined in our adoption contract.

Visiting & Pickup

Can we visit before go-home day?

When possible, families are invited to a short meet-and-greet at 6 weeks (or a virtual visit if traveling).

Do you work with families outside Washington?

Yes. We welcome families from across the U.S. Travel and pickup arrangements can be coordinated after approval.

When do puppies go home?

Around 9 to 10 weeks old. This ensures they are emotionally and physically ready to thrive in their new homes.

Training & Early Curriculum

What early work do you do before 8 weeks?

From day three, puppies are raised with strategies from proven puppy curriculum methods — ENS/ESI, sound exposure, grooming practice, crate & potty foundations, and daily family interaction. We begin crate and potty training strategies starting at 6.5 weeks until go home. Check out our Curriculum page to learn more.

Do you temperament test puppies?

No. We do not perform formal temperament testing. Instead, we rely on daily observation and family interaction to guide puppy matching.
